No New Year's Eve plans? Apple Music's got you covered with the ultimate dance bash to ring in 2024! And you don't have to leave the comfort of your own home.
As the clock ticks down to the final moments of 2023, Apple Music is throwing an epic livestream dance extravaganza. Imagine grooving into the new year with beats from the likes of Honey Dijon, Peggy Gou, KAYTRANADA, and a stellar lineup that includes Apple Music's very own Tim Sweeney, the Brooklyn vibe masters Papi Juice, and the legendary Laurent Garnier, just to name a few.
"When it's a New Year's mix, it's more of a celebration, you know, for getting through the whole year-whether it was hard or not, you have to celebrate making it through the year," states KAYTRANADA according to Billboard. And he's bringing a unique house vibe to spice things up. So, get ready for a celebration that's more than just a mix; it's a victory lap for overcoming whatever challenges came your way in the past year.
Closing out the show is none other than Peggy Gou, the genius producer behind the 2023 smash hit "(It Goes Like) Nanana." She adds, "I try to always go to my sets or my shows half an hour before to get the vibe and see how other DJs are playing, and I'm very sensitive to the crowd's energy." With her debut album set for 2024, this is a sneak peek into what's sure to be an incredible year for her.
And the party doesn't end when the clock strikes midnight. After the livestream, catch the performances on demand on both Apple Music and Apple TV+. Plus, for those who can't get enough, the DJ Mixes dedicated space on Apple Music will keep the beats rolling.
The whole dance party was pre-recorded in a sold-out Brooklyn warehouse, and it's set to premiere on Sunday, Dec. 31, at 7 p.m. PT, exclusively on Apple Music and the Apple TV app. Get a sneak preview of the show here, and get ready to dance your way into the New Year!
