Kesha has finally found a moment of peace amid her messy, years-long battle against Dr. Luke by going out to the beach and basking under the sun and taking in the salty air.
"I haven't felt this free since I was 18," the "Tik Tok" hitmaker wrote in a video she uploaded on her social media accounts. Kesha filmed herself running and skipping towards the sea a day after leaving Dr. Luke's label and her longtime manager.
Fans shared the singer's happiness: "I'm so happy she's finally free."
"That's really mother god. I can't believe she's finally free the entire industry owes her an apology."
"I've followed her career since 'Tik Tok' blew up. She grew from the edgy, grimy party girl gimmick and evolved into an inspiration to women everywhere. She's living proof that you should never allow your abuser to force you to give up on yourself, and I'm so proud of her," another added.
Kesha Leaves Dr. Luke's Label, Vector Management
According to reports, after years and years of being tied down and locked in by Dr. Luke and his label Kemosabe, RCA Records, and Vector Management, Kesha was finally able to part ways with her former collaborators and in turn, her past.
"Jack Rovner confirms, after 16 years, Kesha and Vector Management have agreed amicably to part ways, with much love and respect," read the statement released by the singer's former manager.
Despite what fans might think, Kesha does not have a feud with her manager, but with Dr. Luke due to allegations of sexual assault.
"My manager has been an unwavering supporter of helping me get through the lengthy legal battle I have been embroiled in for almost a decade," Kesha said.
"We have achieved many great successes and have shared a magnificent part of my life with me. I am so grateful to them and always will be. In need of a fresh start in my life, we have parted ways but I will remain forever grateful for the run we had."

Kesha, Dr. Luke Decades-Long Legal Battle
While in some ways, Kesha was able to free herself from the things that reminded her of her demons, she is still not completely out of the woods.
According to reports, her complicated, decades-long legal battle against her former collaborator and music producer rages on.
The legal feud began when Kesha accused Dr. Luke of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2005; the music producer denied all the claims and sued the singer for defamation.
