During a chic outing in Aspen on Saturday, Mariah Carey looked like the Queen of Christmas. She does not look a bit heartbroken at all, despite her recent breakup.

During her yearly trip to the ski hideaway, the 54-year-old pop icon was spotted doing some last-minute holiday shopping. She seemed to be brushing off her recent split with Bryan Tanaka.

The "All I Want for Christmas" hitmaker transformed the frozen streets of the upscale Colorado town into her own runway by sporting a pair of expensive Chanel ear muffs.

She accessorized with an opulent Burberry poncho and flaunted her statuesque physique in a pair of black leather leggings. Mariah goes on the outing after spending the previous few days fully engrossed in Aspen's Christmas madness. It also follows the announcement that, following seven years of dating, she had broken up with Tanaka.

Following the breakup, Page Six revealed that Bryan and Mariah had ended their seven-year romance because he wanted to raise a family of his own.

"He wants to have a family," the insider told the outlet. However, the star is no longer keen on the idea.

Carey, 54, and her ex-husband Nick Cannon are parents to 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

When Bryan accompanied Mariah on her Adventures of Mimi tour in 2006 as a backup dancer, they officially started dating.

Bryan, then 23 years old, who had only started pursuing a dance career five years earlier, saw this as a big opportunity since the arena tour supported the singer's tenth studio album, The Emancipation of Mimi. When Mariah, aged 37, first entered the music world in 1990, she was already at the peak of her game. In 2016, Bryan said to E! News, "There was just a mutual admiration and something connected with us back in the day."

Less than a month after their affair became public, Bryan costarred with Mariah in the E! documentary series Mariah's World, which debuted in December 2016. The first time Mariah and Bryan would part ways was in April 2017.

According to ET, the couple's romance had been "tapering off" for some time before it finally broke up over a dinner date in Los Angeles in February. According to the outlet's source, Bryan became enraged when he overheard Mariah raving about her ex-husband Nick Cannon to the wait staff at the restaurant.

Mariah and Cannon are the parents of twins, Monroe and Moroccan, who are 12 years old. Bryan is reportedly "extremely jealous" of Cannon. In spite of the purported blow-out in February, Bryan did take a vacation with Mariah in March to commemorate her 47th birthday.

TMZ revealed the breakup in April, despite his attempts to make the relationship appear "fine" on social media by posting cheerful pictures from the trip. Later that year, Mariah and Bryan would get back together.
