Everyone was heated when reports of Beyoncé's childhood home being torched down by a fire in Houston, Texas, on Christmas Day.
The superstar's home was blazed right before Christmas morning on Dec. 25, 2023.
Beyoncé Childhood Home Burned Down
According to local media reports, Houston firefighters responded to a call about a fire on Beyoncé's former childhood home on Rosedale Street in Greater Third Ward, Houston, Texas just around 2:00 in the morning of Dec. 25, 2023.
When the fire brigade arrived on the scene, the second-story of the house was already engulfed in flames. Beyoncé's childhood home was a three-story building,
The cree even had to cut the roof in half just to enter the vicinity through the attic before getting the fire under their control.
According to Houston Fire District Chief Justin Barnes, the team did a "great job" in controlling the fire.
"I'm going to say, in less than 10 minutes, we had a really good grip on this fire," Chief Barnes told ABC 13 at the time.
The New York Post reported that there were no injuries, and the couple who were living in the said building and their two children were unharmed and had evacuated the house before the firefighters even arrived.
As of this writing, the reason why Beyoncé's childhood home burned down is still unknown. The Houston Fire District is placing the whole incident under investigation.
Fans of Beyoncé shared their worry online about the harrowing incident.
"so glad the family is safe and got out... that looks scary," a user said.
Devastating news about Beyoncé's childhood home, but thankfully the family living there is safe. Sending them strength and comfort on this difficult Christmas," another wrote.
"Damn, that's so unfortunate for the family... especially on Christmas. But, it's great to hear that they're safe. Sucks knowing Beyoncé visited that home recently for the Renaissance Film, not knowing it would be her last time seeing it like that," a fan commented.

Beyoncé Childhood Home Revisited
NPR says that Beyoncé's Childhood home was about 3,000 square feet and housed three bedrooms, and three baths, and was built in 1946. Beyoncé's family bought the home in 1981 for only $64,000, the same year that she was born.
However, they moved out in 1986 after Solange Knowles was born. Despite the shortlived stay in the residence, Beyoncé had considered the home a landmark in her life. She even visited the home in her "Renaissance: A Beyoncé Film." (via New York Post)
