For the benefit of their five-year-old daughter Kulture and two-year-old son Wave, Cardi B and her estranged husband Offset appeared to lay aside their differences on Christmas. Can there be a reconciliation for good?
The mother of two recently broke down on camera during an emotional Instagram Live, yet despite their painful split, the couple got back together to see their kids open gifts at a family get-together.
The Grammy-winning rapper, 31, shared a video of the former couple's children opening gifts together on Instagram Story on Monday.
The youngsters appeared ecstatic.
As Offset urged Wave to "rip" open his rocket toy, Kulture reacted with the cutest cuteness to receiving a pair of Powerpuff Girls x Nike sneakers from her father.
Following the video on X (now known as Twitter), fans reacted quickly, with some speculating as to whether the couple had reconciled or were simply cordial coparents.
One X user said, "Most chaotic couple ever," while another joked, "It would take until 2024 before Cardi ran back to Offset again."

But a third drew attention to the fact that they had never stated they were back together-they were only together for Christmas.
Others complimented them on managing "co-parenting without creating any controversy." Another person said, "At least they can be adults for their daughter; she deserves to have both parents present on Christmas."
Cardi B showed off her long red nails while giving followers a tour of the festively decorated house on Christmas Eve.
The musical duo, who have been dating since the beginning of 2017, secretly got married that same year and had two kids: boy Wave Set, 2, and daughter Kulture Kiari, 5, during their five years of marriage.
Nevertheless, despite their mutual love and support, the couple has experienced its fair share of highs and lows. "I don't really like talking about love much, but I feel like I have to do it, just because I want people to know a little bit," Cardi told ELLE in the year 2020.
She added that there are often stories floating around about her spouse and her, and she gets the impression that people would prefer to spread them in order to hurt her feelings. They aim to cause her pain.
