Cher has requested conservatorship over the estate of her son Elijah Blue Allman.
The music superstar has asked to be the only conservator of her son's estate, according to court records that Page Six was able to get.
She is worried that her son's alleged drug addiction will prevent him from being able to properly take care of himself or "manage his own financial resources."
Because of Elijah's "current mental and physical health issues," which prevent him from "forming or expressing a preference" regarding the appointment of a conservator for his estate, Cher, 77, stated in the documents that she has not been able to "discuss Elijah's preferences concerning the appointment of a temporary conservator."
Cher claims in the paperwork that "any funds distributed to Elijah will immediately be spent on drugs, leaving Elijah with no assets to provide for himself, and putting Elijah's life at risk," further elaborating on her worries that her 47-year-old son is unable to manage his finances.
Allman earns $120,000 year, and according to Cher's statement, he "is entitled to regular distributions from a trust established by his father for his benefit."

Allman is Cher's youngest son.
His father was the late musician Gregg Allman.
Cher also noted that Elijah's personal property is valued at an estimated $0 dollars. Page Six's request for comment was not immediately answered by the singer's representatives for "Believe."
March 6, 2024 is the date of the conservatorship court hearing.
The Blast was the first to publish on the filing.
Three months prior, it was reported that Cher had enlisted the help of several guys to "kidnap" Allman in 2022 from a hotel room in New York City, with the "greatest and best intentions possible" to get him help for his heroin addiction.
While Allman was at a hotel attempting to keep his 2013 marriage to Marieangela King, his estranged wife, intact, the "kidnapping" occurred.
He was living without electricity in their Beverly Hills home with King before Cher was able to get him in to a rehab facility. In September, one of Cher's close friends told Page Six, "Elijah is such a lovely, lovely guy."
