Ariana Grande and countless others have rightfully left Scooter Braun. But it appears that he has not severed ties with them completely - or at least not with Ariana Grande.

When his biggest talents abruptly left his management company to find new counsel, the company faced a public exodus.

However, when he congratulated Ariana Grande on Instagram on Wednesday, Scooter Braun made it clear that he doesn't hold it against the largest defector.

The 30-year-old actress and hitmaker set a new streaming record, and the 42-year-old record boss celebrated her on Instagram.

After scoring her 13th song to rack up the astounding numbers, the "Wicked" actress became the woman with the most songs on Spotify to have each been streamed over 1 billion times.

Less than two weeks have passed since rumors surfaced that Grande, despite hiring a new manager, is still technically bound by the terms of her management contract with Braun.

The tweet made no mention of the reason behind Grande's breakup with him.

It seemed as though Scooter had staged a picture of his client with long blonde hair, a red lip, pearl earrings, and an elongated black off-the-shoulder dress.

"Ariana Grande is the woman with most songs over 1 billion streams," the photo read, adding, "In Spotify's history with 13 songs."

A second slide honored the singer of "Thank U, Next" for reaching yet another Christmas song milestone.

The message said, "Santa Tell Me has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify," it read.

"It's the first Christmas song released this century to do that."

It was also the 13th song that pushed her over the edge to own the record for the most songs with over 1 billion streams.

It was also the first Christmas song to hit the milestone in a recent era. Following the announcement that Ariana had signed with a new manager, Scooter's post about her seems to be the first time he has mentioned her in public.

Even though it seems like Ariana and Brandon Creed don't get along, Ariana still signed with Good World Management's Brandon Creed, who also represents Demi Lovato.

Countless celebrities abandoned Braun's management organization, including Lovato.

One of Scooter's biggest stars, Justin Bieber, was also rumored to have split from him in August. However, representatives for the Sorry singer refuted these reports, pointing out that the singer had inked a new four-year deal in 2022.

Despite this, Ariana continued to move on. It was claimed earlier in December that, months after rumored to have broken up with Braun, Grande had joined to Creed's recently established Good World Management. This would have made it ten years since Braun helped propel Grande to stardom with her breakthrough album, Yours Truly.

Though she wants to split ways with Braun, officials close to the matter tell DailyMail.com that she is still legally bound to the record executive.

They stated:

"Although Ariana has indeed found new music management, she has not dropped or cut ties with Scooter because she is tied in contractually,' they said. 'She continues to be contractually bound to Scooter as there are several long term contracts still in place."

Even if Grande no longer wants Braun to be in charge of her career, the current agreement compels her to keep paying him as if he were.

Ariana would still be required to pay Brandon and Scooter even if she released a new album tomorrow.

The insider stated, "There has been no change there."

But it appears that Grande is making every effort not to work with Braun, as another insider makes it clear that "she is not working with Scooter."
