It has been alleged that Tyga and Blac Chyna are pressuring their loved ones to sign a $500,000 nondisclosure agreement just for them to go to their kid King Cairo's baptism. Sounds crude, but the couple allegedly had a perfectly good reason.
The NDA, which Page Six was able to obtain on Wednesday, states that prior to the religious ceremony, family members and friends must consent to sign the form.
The legally binding agreement permits the ex-couple to even inspect and confiscate all smart gadgets such as telephones, Apple Watches, and tablets to avoid them being used for taking unwarranted photos of the kid and then circulating them on social media.
The document, which was submitted to the court earlier this week, also forbids guests from making any "disparaging statements" - either written or verbal - about the 34-year-old musician.
The contract stipulates that anyone who breaks it will have to pay a whopping six-figure fine.
Nine months after his mother received the Christian ceremony of introduction into the church, the 11-year-old is getting baptized.
After years of wrangling over custody and money, Chyna and Tyga have agreed to share legal and physical care of their tween.
Both will be able to decide what is best for King's general welfare, education, and health. Tyga will have custody of their baby from Friday through Monday, and then Chyna will have custody of him for the remainder of the week, despite Tyga's desire for complete custody.
Tyga's ex will not be receiving child support payments from him under the new plan. In addition, the court mandated that neither parent speak poorly of the other in front of their kid and that both celebrities sign up for a program that will record their talks about co-parenting.
After meeting Tyga in 2011 on the set of his music video Rack City, Chyna dated him for three years. Before divorcing in 2014, the ex-couples received their son, King Cairo Stevenson, in 2012 and were briefly engaged. In addition to child support, Chyna was requesting payment for the money she had spent on the custody dispute.
In order to make ends meet throughout the expensive court hearings, Chyna allegedly started to selling clothing, purses, and shoes in October.
To date, she has reportedly made about $178,000 from her sales. She said at the time that without Tyga's financial support, she would not have been able to continue battling for her son's custody.
The Loco Contigo rapper, according to Cash Only singer Angela Renee White, was only letting her see her baby for 24 hours a week.
However, the court decided that Tyga is also exempt from paying Chyna's legal fees, and the updated custody arrangement establishes a more fair distribution of the week.
Although Chyna and Tyga seem to be in agreement, the custody agreement represents a much-needed legal victory for Chyna after her terrible legal battle with the Kardashian-Jenner Family.
