In a recent Instagram post, Britney Spears said that her go-to blue dress has gone "missing."
The 42-year-old Princess of Pop shared a video of herself wearing the thigh-skimming gown, which included a daring sheer beaded cup and a baby blue miniskirt that left little room for creativity.
She said in her caption that she recently purchased a new jacket, but the dress vanished after her vacation to Las Vegas. The mother-of-two also called out the anonymous person who had told her, "You got robbed," after the event, calling them "not nice."
The songstress wrote, "Same baby blue dress I wore in Mexico March 31 of this year !!! I decided to bring it back because it was my favorite !!! I wore it before I got on my plane to Vegas two nights ago !!! But it's not in my suitcase anymore nor is my new black jacket I bought last night !!!"
She then added, "Don't you hate it when your favorite belongings go missing and people's response is "you got robbed" with a big smile on their face !!! That's not very nice !!!"
Britney Spears can be seen flaunting the dress from several perspectives while Tove Lo's "Habits" plays on the background. She has her platinum blonde hair styled straight and is seen wearing nude heels. Her Instagram comments have been restricted, so her 42.7 million followers were unable to provide her advise on the matter.
Britney previously looked amazing on the dress in a dancing video from March. The singer of the song "Baby One More Time" showed off her moves, pouting and posing for the camera while constantly fiddling with her hair. She accessorized her clothing with delicate beaded bracelets and hefty black heels. Britney uploaded a video of the sunset following her post about her disastrous outfit choice.
She pondered an existential topic in her caption, asking whether God or nature was responsible for the breathtaking picture.
It's not clear what prompted her reflection session but it possible could be the possibility of Britney's reconciliation with her mother Lynne, which the celebrity is purportedly hoping will happen naturally rather than being forced. Lynne accompanied Britney on her travels and took care of her as she started her career as a child star in the 1990s.
The two's relationship has reportedly been strained in public in recent years due to Lynne's purported involvement in Britney's contentious conservatorship. Nonetheless, the two have defused their differences to the extent where Lynn was present for Britney's 42nd birthday celebration earlier this month. As of right now, a source for Us Weekly has stated that Britney is amenable to patching up her relationship with Lynne, but she prefers for things to develop naturally without coercion.
Britney is presently "in a really good place," the insider asserted, adding that she "would love to continue maintaining her relationship with her mom."
But it also seems that the Princess of Pop "doesn't feel like there's a need to rush anything" and wants "to take her time" with the recovery process. "Britney knows that her mom would have loved for her to visit for Christmas, but she just felt like it was too soon," the source continued.
With the publication of her best-selling autobiography, "The Woman In Me," this year, Britney has taken aim at a number of people, including her parents, her former partner Justin Timberlake, and her sister Jamie Lynn, whom she has branded a "total b****" since she was eleven years old.
