In anticipation of an upcoming court hearing, Keefe D, a prime suspect in the murder of Tupac Shakur, has faced severe criticism for his efforts to secure his release on bail.

Undeniably, Keefe D, who openly admits to having a criminal record, has taken legal action by submitting a motion through his legal representatives. He asserts that he poses no danger to society and should be granted the opportunity to contest the murder accusation while residing at his home.

Prosecutors are relentless in their stance that Keefe, anticipated to appear in court on Tuesday, January 2, for a hearing, should stay detained due to significant apprehensions regarding his potential to interfere with witnesses. Recently, Marc DiGacomo, the Chief Deputy District Attorney of Las Vegas, made a startling accusation regarding Keefe's involvement in a sinister plot.

A new legal document revealed a shocking accusation stating that Keefe's son communicated to the accused individual in a recorded conversation from behind bars about a dangerous directive referred to as a "green light," synonymous with a deadly "kill" command in the realm of organized crime.

Bail Appeal

In light of the accusations, Keefe's assertions in his bail appeal regarding his transformation from a troubled gangster to a reformed individual now appear to be in question. He had claimed to have no intentions of engaging in criminal activities and opted to stay under house arrest with an ankle monitor until his trial.

Addressing the accusation of the "green light" order, Keefe's lawyer, Robert Arroyo, vehemently dismissed the claim. Speaking to The Sun, Arroyo stated, "We are thoroughly examining the allegations put forth by the State and are preparing a written response accordingly. "

"Nevertheless, upon our initial examination of the recorded conversation in question, it is difficult to discern any references or threats made towards the witnesses. Mr. Davis most certainly did not say anything about a green light or threaten any witnesses during the phone call."

Desperation Calls

According to an insider from the Las Vegas Metro police who spoke to The Sun, the absurdity of Keefe's attempt at defending his alleged involvement in Tupac's death and his desperate bid for bail continues to escalate.

The insider finds it both comical and baffling that Keefe believes his defense strategy will revolve around contradicting everything he has previously stated publicly and in his memoir to convince others to believe him now, solely because he desires freedom from imprisonment.

The insider notes that during the bail hearing or trial, if allowed to address the judge or the jury, the absurdity of Keefe's statement will be on full display.

"He will declare himself an upstanding member of society while denying any involvement in criminal activities or being an accomplice to murder. It is beyond comprehension how he can view himself as a trustworthy witness."

The insider believes Keefe is desperate and incapable of accepting the harsh truth that lies before him. From the beginning, it has been evident that he would say anything to avoid facing the consequences and evade justice.

According to prosecutors, the federal government intervened and offered assistance to at least one witness who felt compelled to change his residence due to the alleged threat. This concern prompted the government to act and provide the necessary resources.

The insider added: "These allegations are grave and damage his case severely if proven. During the initial police probe on Keefe, detectives pulled several videos and files where he made threats to high-profile names in the Compton community and even celebrities."

"He boasted that he still had connections to his old gangster lifestyle. His movements were secretly monitored during the summer before being charged. It appears he is throwing anything out there to get himself out of custody, hoping the judge will buy it."

In the eyes of the police insider, who has previously disclosed details about Keefe to The Sun, the upcoming bail hearing is considered a crucial opportunity to gauge Keefe's potential for success during his impending trial, where he will defend himself against a potential life sentence.

During the bail hearing, prosecutors are expected to present a comprehensive argument portraying the former drug dealer as someone who is untrustworthy and who comes with a set of problems.

The source said: "Put simply, Keefe's trust, honesty, and reputation are on trial from this hearing onwards. His own words and confessions about his role in Tupac's death make his defense fragile. The judge will have to decide just what he has said is true [tomorrow] and then a jury afterward."
