Britney Spears is known to take on social media and share video clips of herself dancing in her living room; many laud the singer's dancing, but apparently, not everyone is impressed.
"I just want her to pull her pants up. The lower your pants are, the longer your body looks and the shorter your legs look," Abby Lee Miller's critique was about Spears' dance videos.
The "Oops I Did it Again" singer usually wears a cropped top paired with shorts in her videos.
"No torso. You want to be a head and neck and legs," the controversial dance coach added. "So, she keeps pushing her pants down, making her body longer and her leg shorter. And I'm like, 'pull your pants up and make your legs look longer.'"
Miller is known for being the terror dance coach in the hit television series, "Dance Moms," which produced several young stars like Maddie Ziegler.
Abby Lee Miller Critiques Britney Spears' Dance, Choreography
Despite the numerous negative comments she gave the singer, Miller also praised Spears, particularly her old performances.
According to Page Six, she even likened the singer to Jennifer Lopez, noting that she used to do "athletic, real dancing."
"'Toxic' I mean, any of those songs, even in her video [...Baby One More Time] the iconic schoolgirl outfit, coming down the hallway with the lockers. She was dancing and she could dance," Miller said. "She was great. She was just great."
On to more constructive criticisms, Miller suggested that Spears return to her dance coach and get more training.
"She was away from her dance teacher too long, that's number one. And number two is dance is a constantly evolving art form, so you have to continually stay with the trends."
Abby Lee Miller Judges Taylor Swift's Dancing
Aside from the "Gimme More" singer, Miller also scrutinized another singer's dance moves--Taylor Swift.
"Taylor Swift is pigeon-toed," the "Dance Moms" alum said, then compared the singer to Travis Kelce. "And her boyfriend is a much better dancer. Let's leave it at that. He's a great dancer."
Throughout the years, Swift's dancing was also criticized by many, however, her fans always note that the "You Belong With Me" singer is not a dancer but rather a singer-songwriter.
