On Tuesday, Britney Spears posted a video of herself on Instagram along with a strange question. It's nothing scandalous, just weird and makes people wonder what she is thinking, really.
The 42-year-old music sensation, whose sons reside in Hawaii, grinned in the video while sporting her go-to naked heels, a small leopard skort, and a cream lace top.
The "Lucky" singer informed fans that the video was recorded on December 16 of the previous week.
Then she got on a diatribe about time and what it meant to be "timeless," speaking incoherently.
"This was shot exactly 2 weeks ago on Dec 16 !!! Moments in time !!! Or is time an illusion ???" the mother-of-two began.
"When people say it's timeless ... does that mean it goes on forever to ️ infinity ️ ??? It never dies ??? I'm like y'all I don't know !!!"
And then, she urged her followers to "swipe" to see [the] definition of "timeless" for themselves.
This happened after exclusive pictures of Britney's 17-year-old son Jayden and his girlfriend on Tuesday beach in Hawaii were released.
Jayden's father, Kevin Federline, who was previously married to Britney for three years, as well as Kevin's current spouse, Victoria Prince, joined them.
Sean, Britney and Kevin's 18-year-old son, was not there during the event.
The day before Britney posted sweet old photos of her two sons-from whom she has been separated for years.
Britney looks happy in the pictures, cuddled up between the two little guys.
The "Toxic" hitmaker gives Sean and Jayden hugs in the other two photos while they make funny faces for the camera.
Given that Britney and her boys have been embroiled in a public spat for many years, the social media post may indicate that the two are trying to mend their relationship.
When Kevin-who has sole custody-moved the boys and his wife Victoria Prince to Hawaii earlier this year, the singer was unable to say farewell.
In June 2022, Sean and Jayden did not attend their mother's wedding to Sam Asghari. Since then, the pair has broken up.
In an interview for ITV, the two adolescents told documentary filmmaker Daphne Barak that it wasn't a "good time to go."
"At the time it just wasn't a good time to go," Jayden clarifiedd.
"I'm not saying that I'm not happy for her, I'm really happy for them, but she didn't invite the whole family and then if it was just going to be me and Preston, I just don't see how that situation would have ended on good terms."
Kevin had openly attacked Britney for what he perceived to be poor parenting in an interview, saying that Sean and Jayden had made the decision to see their mother no more.
