With the State of California enacting California's Sexual Abuse and Cover-Up Accountability Act, victims of sexual abuse can now come forward and sue their abusers who are now beyond the Statute of Limitations.
Rapper T.I., formally known as Clifford Harris, and her wife, singer Tiny, formally known as Tameka Cottle Harris, have been named in one of the lawsuits filed in the state, accusing the two of sexual assault, among many others.
TI, Tiny Drugged, Sexually Assaulted Airforce Veteran
According to exclusively obtained documents by Rolling Stone, Jane Doe, who was around 22 or 23 at the time of the incident, attended a party of the late rapper Coolio in Los Angeles. She allegedly met a man who goes by the name of Caviar, who worked for T.I. and Tiny, at the time.
As she met the couple, Jane Doe alleged that Tiny handed her a spiked drink. Afterward, Doe says she was separated from her friend and she ended up in a hotel room with the couple along with two other women who were forced to leave.
Doe then recounted that Clifford began demanding in "explicit detail" as if he was "reciting a script." She was then stripped naked by Tameka and showered with her. The plaintiff recalled being "extremely dizzy and lightheaded" and felt "drugged" at the time when Clifford directed her to the bed.
"While Tiny was straddled on Plaintiff's back and pinning her down, T.I. then proceeded to slide his toes into Plaintiff's vagina," the complaint said. "Plaintiff told him 'No' (and) tried to move T.I. out of her and away from her. T.I. then said he would go get a condom and Tiny continued to arouse herself by grinding on Plaintiff and massaging her backside. Plaintiff grew increasingly sicker and felt extremely ill by the assault and battery she was experiencing."
After the alleged assault, Jane Doe forced herself to stand up and leave the bed only to find herself vomitting in the bathroom. She then passed out and felt "serious pain" when she was instructed by a security guard the next morning to leave the room while the couple was still sleeping.
TI, Tiny Denies Sexual Assault Allegations
In a statement to Rolling Stone, both T.I. and Tiny denied the scathing allegations, noting that Jane Doe had been threatening them with the lawsuit for three years already.
"For THREE years we have maintained our innocence and refused to pay these extortionate demands for things we didn't do. For THREE years, we've maintained the same position while the claims in this story have changed time and time again. Our position is clear. We are innocent of these fake claims, we will not be shaken down, and we look forward to our day in court," they said in a statement.
