Festival season is fast approaching and Coachella 2024 headliners seem to have already been teased by industry insiders.
The annual Coachella Music and Arts Festival is perhaps the biggest and the most anticipated music and arts festival of the year, which is why there's always a huge buzz about who will be performing in it.
Coachella 2024 Headliners
Hits Daily Double has revealed that Lana Del Rey, and Tyler, the Creator, were confirmed to be Coachella 2024 headliners. Doja Cat, who is also thrown in the mix, has reportedly not confirmed yet.
Another name that has been thrown around is Peso Pluma, to appeal to a wider genre and audience representation. Dua Lipa reportedly turned down the invitation to be a Coachella 2024 headliner because of the timing. Surprisingly, the Coachella 2024 headliner committee has turned down Shakira's team who reportedly presented themselves as an opening act.
Travis Scott, The Rolling Stones, and even Olivia Rodrigo were also tossed into the mix for possible Coachella 2024 headliners but it never materialized.
Rage Against The Machine was also speculated to return to the Valley but those rumors were squashed after drummer Brand confirmed on Instagram that the band would not touring or playing again, signifying the third breakup of the band.
Supposedly, Rage Against The Machine will headline Coachella 2020 but the pandemic happened. The beloved band played a string of shows in 2020 until vocalist Zack de la Rocha was injured, effectively canceling their tour and, thus, the Coachella gig.
Coachella 2024 will be taking place on April 12, 13, and 14, 2024, and April 19, 20, and 21, 2024 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Coachella 2023
While these rumors have only been vouched and "confirmed" by Hits Daily Double, the actual Coachella 2024 headliners and Coachella 2024 lineup will soon be released.
Around this period last year, Hits Daily Double teased Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, and Frank Ocean as potential Coachella 2023 headliners, which all turned out to be true.
Bad Bunny headlined the first and fourth day, BLACKPINK performed on the second and fifth day, while Frank Ocean performed only on the third day with a messed-up set. Blink-182 then took over for the sixth and final day after Ocean pulled the plug on his highly-awaited performance which reportedly included Olympic skaters and an entire skating rink onstage.
