With the cancellation of a show scheduled for next week, Paramore has added to the buzz about their possible breakup. Then they go and did this - further alarming their avid fans.
The pop rock group, which consists of 35-year-old Hayley Williams, 33-year-old Zac Farro, and 34-year-old Taylor York, will not be performing at the iHeartRadio ALTer EGO event on January 13 in Los Angeles.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Paramore can no longer attend and perform at iHeartRadio ALTer EGO on January 13. The band apologises for any inconvenience," the band stated in a social media statement posted on their Instagram Story. The group regrets any inconvenience caused.
The band 'Still Into You' alarmed fans when they removed their official website and deleted all of their social media accounts.
Hayley alone has deleted her own webpage and accounts. Paramore acknowledged that there is a "level of uncertainty" regarding their future in a recent interview with Uproxx.
Hayley said, "The only thing that matters is we will still get to be each other's community." Zac added: "I just hope we can keep building the Paramore empire and then rule the world."
The singer Hayley of "Misery Business" revealed they had been working on new music, but the band was forced to postpone several dates of their North American tour due to a lung infection.
The group posted studio pictures to Instagram, and Hayley posted on Discord, saying, "Thankfully got some downtime but we put some work in too. It felt good to get back into a studio. More of that once we get home to Nashville."
She added, "Zac, Taylor, and I just want to get back to making things. We've been craving that for a while now."
"Not only the creative process but the layer(s) of insulation that can come with the creative process," she further said.
