Lady Gaga sparked concerns about her future in the music industry after being out of the spotlight for quite some time now.
Since the 2020 "Chromatica," Lady Gaga's fans have not heard a solo music from her and supported her other projects instead. From filming movies to establishing collaborations with other musicians, the "Poker Face" songstress has been keeping herself busy with other things that the public now wonders what is up with her.
Will Lady Gaga Release a New Music?
A source spoke with In Touch (via OK! Magazine) about Lady Gaga being "eccentric."
"Some people close to her say she seems different in recent months, almost as if she's had a secret breakdown. She's pulled away from friends and has been spending most of her time alone when she's not with her boyfriend, Michael Polansky," the insider continued.
Lady Gaga is reportedly going through something that keeps her out of the music industry spotlight. Per the insider, the "Bad Romance" singer told a friend she felt "a bit lost" in her music career, though she has been successful in her other endeavors.
For instance, she will appear in the 2024 "Joker: Folie à Deux," where she will play Harley Quinn's role.
Despite the uncertainty, the source assured fans that Lady Gaga "is not going anywhere" and will reinvent herself instead - just like what she usually does.
Lady Gaga previously said in July 2023 that she had been so busy that she could not share her artistic process with her fans.
In November, she sparked rumors that she would release new music after she was spotted with r will.i.am carrying large folders.
Lady Gaga Collaborated With the Rolling Stones
Fans, somehow, heard Lady Gaga's music when she worked with The Rolling Stones in the band's "Sweet Sounds of Heaven" as part of their new album release.
During an interview, Mick Jagger seemingly hinted at the singer's solo music, as well.
"We've done shows with her before and we were doing this song that I wrote on the piano, this kind of gospel-y song and she was in the next door studio," he told Associated Press. "She said, 'Can I come down?' and she came down and she joined in and we sung together and we went in the next day and tidied up a few things up."
