Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have become somewhat like a pop culture royalty couple, and anyone with something to say about their relationship will have to face the singer's loyal fanbase the Swifties.
This was experienced firsthand by the Kansas City Chiefs player's ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole. Swifties have been hounding her non-stop, and she finally decided to address the hate once and for all.
According to Page Six, the 32-year-old influencer took to social media to post a cryptic message: "Fake page, s**t talking, cult following, keyboard warriors - maybe take the year off babe?"
In the video, Nicole was lip-synching to a Drake sound bite: "To the rest of you - the non-believers, the underachievers, the tweet and deleters - you guys make me sick to my stomach, fam."
Travis Kelce's Ex-Girlfriend Faces Intence Backlash After NFL Star Debut Romance with Taylor Swift
This is not the first time Nicole had to fend for herself as Swift's fans came after her online; when Kelce and the "Cruel Summer" singer's relationship was budding, she issued an open letter.
"They may call you a traitor for falling in love," she said, addressing "Black women, specifically." "You'll hope the ones closest will protect you but quickly realize people don't protect what they don't value.
"[...] Preserve your heart even when they try to quantify your character and test your boundaries. ... You do not have to respond. Because there is power in your silence."
Nicole then went on to explain that people tried to "tie [her] value to [her] net worth," and told her she was "not enough."
"When the world gets dark and time gets hard and you feel like your back is against the wall and your hands are tied and nobody knows what it's like to be you ... this is only a small chapter in your story," she added.

"Whether you're feeling the Valentine's Day pressure like Jason [Kelce] and I, or trying to figure out the right gift for a significant other, Etsy is the go-to destination for adding that special touch," Kelce said during his podcast episode with his brother, Jason Kelce.
