Taylor Swift is one of the most influential people in the world, everywhere she goes, everyone goes; whatever she says, many agree.
This might be the reason why Fox News has been touting the allegations that Taylor Swift is a US government asset, which Whoopi Goldberg disagrees with.
Taylor Swift Conspiracy Theories Debunked
Very recently, Fox News' Jesse Watters questioned Taylor Swift's popularity to be linked and used by Joe Biden's administration.
"Have you ever wondered why or how she blew up like this?" Watters asked. "Well, around four years ago, the Pentagon's Psychological Operations unit floated turning Taylor Swift into an asset during a NATO meeting. What kind of asset? A PsyOp for combatting online misinformation."
He even claimed that when Swift encouraged her fans to vote for the elections, "hundreds of thousands of young Taylor Swift fans all of a sudden registered to vote."
"I wonder who got to her, from the White House or from wherever?" he added, casting more doubt on Swift's intentions.

Whoopi Goldberg Lashes Out On Taylor Swift Conspiracy Theories
In a statement at The View, the EGOT-winning actress and host, Whoopi Goldberg, pounced on Jesse Watters. (via Variety)
"There are real issues impacting millions of Americans," she pointed out. "This is what the Fox News folks wanted viewers to be worried about during their prime-time broadcast on Tuesday."
As she continued to talk about Watters' claims, Goldberg said that people like Watters worry about "the weirdest stuff."
"She got people to go out and vote, including probably all kinds of people that you'd rather not have voting. If she can get people to do that, why would you say that was a bad thing or talk about it like you're disparaging it? What kind of bull...?" she continued.
"The View" co-host Sunny Hostin chimed in, saying that Watters was only mad because Swift, who was born in the Midwest like most conservatives, didn't turn out to be a "conservative" princess.
"I think the Jesse Watters of the world thought that she was their princess," Hostin went on to say. "She was in support of March for Our Lives against gun violence, she supported the LGBTQ community in her music videos, and then [she's] pro-choice, and then she said [go] vote. They picked the wrong princess."
