A cookware brand has firmly stated that they have no association with a recently circulating Taylor Swift ad.

Le Creuset emphasized that they cannot be held accountable for the circulating internet content that utilizes the Grammy award-winning singer's appearance and voice through AI-generated, deepfake technology.

Another Scam

In the ad, Taylor Swift's voice fills the room as the Le Creuset cookware gleams.

NBC News reports that the pop star introduces herself with a deepfake voice, capturing viewers' attention everywhere.

"Hey, y'all, it's Taylor Swift here."

"Due to a packaging error, we can't sell 3,000 Le Creuset cookware sets, so I'm giving them away to my loyal fans for free."

In this AI version, the initial appearance of the scam ad was on a Facebook page known as "The Lucrative Investment Hub."

Surprisingly, the ad has received an impressive number of 2,300 views.

Brand Breaks Its Silence

Responding to the situation, Le Creuset swiftly issued a statement denying any association with the fraudulent advertisement.

According to the brand's statement, "Le Creuset is not involved with Taylor Swift for any consumer giveaway."

"All approved Le Creuset giveaways or promotions come from official social accounts."

They further said, "Consumers should always check Le Creuset's official social accounts and website before clicking on any suspicious ads."

Recent concerns have emerged regarding replicating people's likenesses, especially celebrities', without their consent, despite the existence of AI deepfake technology for a considerable time.

This comes after reports of no engagement between Taylor Swift and her athlete boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Not Getting Married Yet

The engagement rumors swirling around Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may need to take a backseat for now.

TMZ's sources insist that there are no wedding bells soon for the couple, debunking recent claims of a fast-track to the altar. In fact, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has no immediate plans of popping the question to the "Shake It Off" singer.

Last week, rumors about Taylor's potential engagement to Travis happening in the early summer days had been circulating. However, those rumors are unfounded.

According to the outlet's sources, some individuals close to the situation believe this relationship may not last long.

Insiders have also mentioned that the couple are still in the blissful honeymoon phase of their romance. They warned that it is too soon to determine if their relationship will progress beyond the dating stage.
