Police have apprehended the notorious figure recognized as "King Bob," the notorious music leaker responsible for exposing unreleased tracks by Playboi Carti and various other prominent musicians.
The United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida reported that, on January 11, they took into custody a teenager by the name of Noah Michael Urban, 19.
According to HipHopDX, Noah faces multiple charges, including one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, eight counts of wire fraud, and five counts of aggravated identity theft.
Noah faces the possibility of spending the next two decades in prison for each count of wire fraud. With a staggering eight charges, he could potentially be sentenced to a daunting 160 years behind bars.
Infamous Leaker
According to the Middle District of Florida, Noah is accused of defrauding five individuals and taking over $800,000 through criminal activities. Official police records reveal that the Volusia County Sheriff's Office apprehended him and levied an extra allegation of being a fugitive from justice.
But in an act of defiance, Noah has declared his innocence for all the charges brought against him. However, not a single musician whose masterpieces he exposed in previous incidents, including Ariana Grande and Lil Uzi Vert, has been reported as a target of his deceitful financial schemes.
Amid the suspect's legal allegations, one particular accusation is his alleged misuse of digital currency.
The world of cryptocurrency, particularly Bitcoin, played a significant role in a notorious incident involving the unauthorized release of Playboi Carti's music in 2020.
DaBaby's Producer
In a recent video shared on various social media platforms, DaBaby's Producer Jetsonmade engages in conversation with a fervent supporter who proposes a substantial monetary offer in exchange for the unreleased tracks by Playboi Carti.
In the clip, Jetsonmade's demeanor exudes a hint of unease.
Amid the discussion, a fan voices his frustration, questioning, " Bruh, I thought you wanted money? Bro, I'm literally about to pay you money for songs that are never dropping. So, you'll never get money from them dropping."
Jetsonmade responded, "I'll call you back in two minutes."
Jetsonmade, who is the mastermind behind DaBaby's chart-topping track "Suge," recently admitted to trolling. This revelation came to light when a video captured him discussing the possibility of trading never-before-heard songs from Carti's vault for a staggering $17,000 worth of Bitcoin.
The allegations against Noah have sparked fans' curiosity about whether Jetsonmade unintentionally made contact with the person known as "King Bob" during that period.
Until now, the 19-year-old suspect has not faced any legal repercussions regarding the unauthorized release of songs.
