Creed will reunite for a series of shows this years and fans have been wondering if the band had any plans on releasing new music to perform on their concerts.
More recently, frontman Scott Stapp shared his thoughts about dropping new music, and he appeared to have teased the listeners during his interview.
The musician dropped by "Trunk Nation" on SiriusXM to share his thoughts about the group's reunion shows which will begin this July.
He later gave a big hint that the group might potentially release brand new music in the coming months.
He told host Eddie Trunk that he and Mark Tremonti were hanging out days prior the interview doing "some secret thing I can't share."
During their moment together, both of them spoke about how they wrote their album "Human Clay" released in 1999.
"You know what we'd do? We'd write a song and we'd get it tight and play it within three or four days of writing it, because we didn't have enough material with just that one record to be a headliner," he added. (via NME)
Is Creed Dropping New Music Soon?
Later in the interview, the singer revealed that when he and Tremonti reminisce their past as bandmates, both of them were inspired to write music again.
"I think there's gonna be some writing happening and it's gonna be organic and I think it's gonna be beautiful, man, if we get back to that place and that chemistry," he further teased.
Stapp explained that he and his bandmates are currently in a fresh space and he thinks that the creative juices are going to flow so he's hoping that there will be "some new music" in the fututre.
As of this writing, Creed has yet to share more details about their next musical project aside from their reunion tour.
