The Jada Kingdom and Stefflon Don feud is back on with more drama and, of course, more songs. Don and Kingdom have been going back and forth for the past week over an issue that should have been resolved long ago. However, that is not the case, as Don directly referenced Kingdom in her song "Dat a Dat," which sparked this online diss track feud.
Originally, Kingdom had refused to respond to Don, which some suspect is due to Don's claims of suing Kingdom for defamation. However, after careful consideration, Kingdom decided to release "Accept Dat." The song went live yesterday with jabs at Don about her body, her family, her sexual preferences, and making sure Don knows that Kingdom is no longer trying to continue or entertain this discussion.
One line that resonated with fans is, "Me know yuh vex, but me can't take the fuck back; just accept dat, read the sign, dutty gyal, don't enter," which refers to Kingdom's relationship with "African Giant" Burna Boy.
Fans, once again, are divided, showing loyalty on both sides. Don fans insist that Kingdom is full of talent but shouldn't have gotten involved in or entertained this feud. @Thebig7_ commented on Kingdom's post, "STEFFLON - 3 JADA - 1, and anyone who thinks otherwise is obviously a hater. JADA has the potential to become a great artist, but the reason she hasn't grown as a musician is that she has a small fanbase full of mediocre people who applaud her even when she drops mediocre songs. With her beautiful voice and sexy looks, she could've easily been the biggest female artist out of Jamaica by now, but her fans are not pushing her to do better. Celebrating her mediocrity will hinder her growth. Even the song 'Big Buddy' is no good, just a little nice song that nobody will remember in a few weeks' time. JADA, you can do better."
Some fans say that the feud should've been over after the first comeback song. @staceyyyy456 wrote, "lol, ya'll know damn well Jada won the clash from her first diss song. There is no coming back from that. Steff, a suh yuh delusional!! the world knows Jada won. Just you and your delusional fans are unaware."
Many Don fans also think that Kingdom's fanbase supports her unconditionally even if she produces "mediocre songs," which is what gives her a leg up in trending music. @loryandersonflip commented under Kingdom's post, "Even when the song nuh bad, your fans still a give you props. They should tell you the truth and be done. I THINK YOU HAVE THE BEST FANS IN THE WORLD . And personally and honestly, I think this is a weak comeback. No counteraction, etc."
Hopefully, this marks the end of this seemingly never-ending feud, and the two artists can proceed to making new music. Kingdom wrote on her Instagram, "Now back to real work," so we can expect to see some new music from her soon.
