Jewelry designer Steven Singer, who is headquartered in Philadelphia, is so excited about the possibility of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce getting engaged that he is offering the NFL player a $1 million custom-made ring as payment for the proposal. Now this is a major boost to get Travis Kelce down and proposing to the pop icon - will he take it?!
"I recognize that the most renowned couple globally has an abundance of options when it comes to choosing engagement rings, should they decide to tie the knot," the owner of Steven Singer Jewelers revealed to Page Six.
"If they do, I would be honored to help design a truly extraordinary ring exclusively for them."
Singer adds that he has a "deeply personal" reason for wanting to do this for the couple.
"My daughter is an avid fan of Taylor Swift, and we admire not only her but also the values she champions," he tells us.
"Perhaps, by presenting them with the ring of their dreams, it might make securing concert tickets for her next tour a tad easier," he jokes.
The jewelry designer already knows what the "Cruel Summer" singer could like in terms of style.
He recommends a 7.5-carat emerald-cut Earth Born diamond ring, handcrafted in platinum, in the style of Art Deco.
He continues, "With colorless, eye-flawless, real diamonds!"
Additionally, Singer states that if Kelce and Swift choose to pay for the ring themselves, he will donate the money to the charity of their choice because their combined estimated net worth is close to $800 million.
Singer's extravagant gesture follows last week's exclusive Page Six revelation that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the "Blank Space" hitmaker were already planning to advance their relationship.
"Taylor and Travis discussed it and there is a plan," an insider told Page Six. "They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July."
The well-known couple, who began dating in July 2023, reportedly want to put off getting engaged for the time being because "they don't want it to seem like it's rushed insanity."
We had learned via a different insider that the football player has already approached Scott Swift, the Grammy winner's father, for his consent to be her bride.
A source close to Kelce asserted last month that "Travis has been talking to friends about a ring, and Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it."
Since the 34-year-old singer of "All Too Well" and the 34-year-old two-time Super Bowl champion announced their courtship to the public in September 2023, all eyes have been on them.
Since then, Kelce's house in Kansas City, Missouri, and Taylor's apartment in New York City have been frequented by the two. They managed to spend some time in South America with the pop star's father as well.
