Ween History
Ween's story began in 1984. At the time, members Aaron Freeman (Gene Ween) and Mickey Melchiondo (Dean Ween) were schoolmates in junior high school.
At one point, they became classmates at a typing class, but Freeman wasn't fond of his future bandmate Melchiondo as he recalled him as someone who was a "jock" and he was a "trench-coat guy."
"We sat next to each other in typing class and both realized we were into music," Freeman recalled.
The group went on to have other members Dave Dreiwitz, Claude Coleman Jr., Glenn McClelland, and Andrew Weiss.
Through the years, Ween had several albums such as "Pure Guava," "12 Golden Country Greats," "White Pepper," "Quebec," and many more.
