People who are not close to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have painted the singer a "distraction" to the Kansas City Chiefs, but here's what his teammates think of her.

Several personalities and individuals have defended Swift against her critics who called her out for reportedly distracting the Kansas City Chiefs and using Kelce for clout. Far from what the censurers think, Kelce's teammates have a different impression of the singer.

What the Kansas City Chiefs Team Think of the Spotlight on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Revealed

In an exclusive interview with Showbiz Cheat Sheet, one of Kelce's former teammates, Jason Avant, gave his insight on how the other players in the locker room may have reacted to the attention the tight end and his muse have been getting.

"I don't think the players are ever bothered by the media attention," he said. "The players are used to it. There are so many cameras that are following the guys. I just don't think that the NFL fan in general outside of the Chiefs locker room was ready for the storm of Taylor Swift."

Avant quipped the players do not mind it all as the attention reportedly "boosts" them and their game instead.

While the NFL benefited from their relationship, the retired receiver believes that the "Lover" singer also experienced the same as many football fans started listening to her music after she began dating Kelce.

Why Did Taylor Swift Receive the Nickname?

The Sun quoted Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless' social media post about Swift, saying, "Feels like it's about time to call Taylor Swift a distraction. What do you think, Patrick? Andy? How about you, Travis?"

Meanwhile, Kelce's teammate Patrick Mahomes previously expressed how happy they were to meet the "champagne problems" songstress and how cool she was when Kelce brought her around, labeling her a "top-tier" at her profession.

On the other hand, former NFL quarterback Brett Favre shared a similar comment - which was later clarified that he did not say the statement - saying Swift was using her beau and only distracting his team.

"She's obviously using Travis Kelce for publicity. It's a money grab that's not going to end well. Eventually the Chiefs are going to lose and it will be her fault. She's bad for football," the former quarterback allegedly said.
