On February 7, Taylor Swift will kick off her Eras Tour once more -- now in Tokyo.
Currently, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are participating in the NFL playoffs. Due to their extreme distance from one another, insiders told TMZ over the weekend that their relationship will be entering a "very challenging" phase.
According to a source who spoke with Us Weekly today, Swift and Kelce are resolved to get through this slump together.
The insider claimed that Swift is "calling a lot of the shots" in their relationship even though both are making a concerted effort to keep their connection alive and thriving. She's basically the alpha even though Kelce is the athlete.
According to that source, Swift had a significant role in Kelce's decision-making process when he purchased a new home in October.
The insider claimed that she was heavily involved in both interior design and house search. She is now assisting him in putting everything together.
The announcement followed the debunking of rumors by several sources that Swift and Kelce intended to tie the knot this summer.
For six months, the pair has been dating. According to its sources, the outlet stated that there is "absolutely no engagement in the works," emphasizing that Kelce "ain't getting on bended knee anytime soon."
Per earlier reports, some individuals in their social circles don't even think Swift and Kelce's relationship will "last the distance" and think they're still in their honeymoon stage. According to the outlet, they think "it's just too early to tell if they'll ever advance past the dating stage."

Additionally, a source denied engagement rumors to The Messenger last week, stating on January 11 that "there are still no plans for an engagement."
"They're happy and still getting to know each other, and it's still new."
Swift revealed to Time magazine in December that she had secretly started dating Kelce in July, just after he had discussed on his podcast his botched attempt to offer her a friendship bracelet at her Kansas City Eras Tour show that included his phone number.
"This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell," she said. "We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I'm grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date."
