Avril Lavigne is on tour again. Lavigne took to Instagram to announce her "Greatest Hits Tour" with bands Simple Plan, All Time Low, Girlfriends and Royal and the Serpent.
In an Instagram post, Lavigne wrote, "Tour dates for 2024 baby! I'll be doing the Greatest Hits from all of my albums and along with some of your favorites, perhaps some special requests? And of course all of my friends are joining me!!!"
Lavigne also posted only selective North American tour dates and locations which angered fans from South America and Europe. However, many fans have pointed out that Lavigne has done this before and played the same popular songs.
Fan @lksluan commented on the post, "You always sing the same songs! We want to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Under My Skin! We want new music! We want you on stage dancing! We are getting tired of always a tour with you standing on stage singing the same songs."
Other fans are still excited to see Lavigne perform and have given recommendations as the singer requested.
@Cicciochri commented, "fu****excited. I love you. It will be a tour out of the norm and I can't wait to see you this summer. It will be colossal. More songs than "Under My Skin" and if you can add "everybody hurts" maybe with acoustic guitar." Lavigne concluded her post by informing fans that tickets will be on sale at 10 a.m. and to get first access to ticket sales fans should sign up for Lavigne's email list.
Lavigne wrote: "This is gonna be too much stupid fun celebrating my career with my friends and fans."
