Ozzy Osbourne is reportedly planning to perform again amid his dire health status - and it will be his last.
Talks about Osbourne's desire to perform again have constantly appeared in headlines, while the Prince of Darkness focuses on his recuperation due to different health issues. After a long wait, his wife, Sharon Osbourne, confirmed that he would like to have his final stage performance in his hometown of Birmingham.
What To Know About Ozzy Osbourne's Final Performance?
Ozzy's retirement and farewell tour have been the topics of his fans after the revelations regarding his health setbacks. Most recently, he underwent his fourth spinal surgery, which he dubbed as his last.
After a long wait, Sharon disclosed that her husband would not tour again but would hold shows in his hometown to bid goodbye to his fans properly.
"He won't tour again, but we are planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye as he feels like 'I have never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say goodbye properly,'" she said. "His voice is still absolutely perfect. And all the time he has been off he still does his singing lessons, so his voice is perfect. And he can joke yeah.
Sharon continued, "He has all these melodies in his head. Even if you don't like his music you can't not like Ozzy, he just draws you in."
Details about Ozzy's farewell tour have yet to be revealed, but Sharon said he might hold it at the Astro Villa's stadium, Villa Park, where he is from.
Ozzy Osbourne Quit Touring For Good
Ozzy previously declared the end of his touring stint in February 2023 when he canceled his scheduled appearances.
"As you may all know, four years ago this month I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine," he said. "My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage."
While his voice can still do the job, his body has become physically weak because of the health issues while also undergoing different procedures, including Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, stem cell treatments and physical therapy sessions.
