In August, Drake revealed a pair of 'Drake vs. Lil Wayne' Air Jordan 3 sneakers on Instagram to commemorate their ongoing tour and it looks like Drizzy has been laced with some new kicks this month.
This past weekend, the Toronto rapper posted a photo of two new Air Jordan 3 colorways designed especially for him.
Prior to showtime in Austin, Texas, the OVO rhymer showed off the Air Jordan 3 PEs in a black/red and white/red colorway. The colorful lining and laces give the sneakers an almost tie-dye look as the tour's fiery Street Fighter theme comes to play.
Last month, Drake took to the stage rocking the all black 'Drake vs. Lil Wayne' 3 features a red Jumpman on the tongue, a gold Jumpman on the heel tab, and the 'Drake vs. Lil Wayne' tour logo on the insole along with the OVO owl.
As XXL reports, sneakerheads can only hope that the Jordan Brand announces a release for these Air Jordans. But it doesn't hurt to look, check them out after the jump.
Aside from custom sneakers, Drake and Lil' Wayne introduced another cool feat for their tour.
As previously reported, the two YMCMB rappers released an interactive app designed for the tour. The app is available on both Google Android and Apple iOS.
The DvsLW app, a collaboration with tour sponsor Capcom (the video-game publisher behind Street Fighter and many others), will enable fans to select their city, pick a side (Drake or Lil Wayne) during each night's rap battle.
The app also allows concertgoers to utilize a "button mash" as if they were playing the latest Ultra Street Fighter IV video game to help their favorite rapper "power up" and impact their performances in real time.
