2024 BRITs Nominees Announced: RAYE Bags 7 Nods, Ed Sheeran Snubbed

The BRIT Awards has announced its roster of nominees for this year and singer-songwriter RAYE emerged as the biggest artist of them all with seven whooping nominations - the most for any artist in history.

Meanwhile, British superstars Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi only scored one nomination each.

BBC reports that RAYE has made a record-setting feat with seven nods from various categories including Artist of the Year.

She was nominated twice for Song of the Year for "Prada" and "Escapism," Best New Artist, R&B Act, Best Pop Act, and Album of the Year. RAYE beat Gorillaz, Robbie Williams, and Craig David for being the most nominated artist of the night with six nominations each.

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi, two of the biggest British acts in the past few years, had a field day, only scoring one nomination each for Song of the Year - only for "Eyes Closed' and "Wish You The Best," respectively.
