Elle King was very intoxicated when she sang at The Grand Ole Opry in honor of Dolly Parton's 74th Birthday.

In a now-circulating video of Elle King, she was definitely in over her head when she addressed the crowd last weekend, admitting she doesn't even know the lyrics on Parton's 2001 hit "Marry Me."

"I don't know the lyrics to these things in this f - - king town," King said, "Don't tell Dolly 'cause it's her birthday."

According to The New York Post, King started addressing the crowd who seemed to not like her behavior.

"You spent money for this s - - t," King said. "You ain't getting your money back. "I'll tell you one thing more: 'Hi, my name is Elle King [and] I'm f - - king hammered.'"

The Grand Ole Opry, in a tweet, apologized for King's behavior: "..we deeply regret and apologize for the language that was used during last night's second Opry performance."

People stormed online to lash out at King who they said "disrespected" Dolly Parton and the people who came before him who performed at the Grand Ole Opry.

As of this writing, Dolly Parton has yet to address what happened.
