After sharing pictures of his body, 50 Cent was bombarded with questions regarding his weight loss journey and accused of using Ozempic by people online.
"You wanna talk about weight loss? I was in the gym, I was working the f-k out, man," the rapper said in a video uploaded on Instagram. "And they say it's Ozempic? I was running, I was running, I was doing what I had to do. You seen me on tour."
Ozempic is a drug to treat diabetes; according to the UC Davis website, it helps lower blood sugar by helping the pancreas produce more insulin, which in turn causes people who use it to lose weight.
It is now, however, a drug prescribed to anyone who simply wants to lose weight.
He finished his "Final Lap" tour in November 2023, and even announced that he will be practicing "abstinence" this year as well; it seems like the rapper is determined to turn his life around.
50 Cent went from 253 pounds to his current 2010, which is why many joked that he can now be called 25 Cent instead.
50 Cent Focuses on Goals
A few days into the New Year, 50 Cent shared his goals for this year, and how he plans to achieve all of them.
"My new idea is so big, I don't have time to be distracted I'm practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals," the "In Da Club" rapper shared.
According to a source who talked to Page Six, 50 Cent was indeed working overtime behind the scenes during his tour, in fact, he has been on a "rigorous training program for a little under a year.
50 Cent Loses Weight
Fans could not help but praise the rapper's tenacity to lose weight and pursue his many goals, and then some.
"Fif on that Ozemoic, looking good though," one wrote.
"Ozempic takes another, but I like Teddy Bear 50," another marked.
However, it was revealed by a source that the rapper drastically lost weight because he has been working out "three hours a day, every day" since last summer.
No wonder 50 Cent seemed pretty offended when many suggested that he used Ozempic to lose weight--he worked hard to achieve his current figure.
