Accompanied by his band, Usher showcased the certified diamond album from start to finish, featuring chart-topping hits like "Caught Up," "Bad Girl," and more.

The stage was transformed into a church sanctuary, complete with a full choir and a cross adorned with glowing displays of his name.

"Getting here has definitely not been easy, but it has been worth it," Usher said on his acceptance speech. "I didn't write anything because I wanted this moment to be exactly what it was: present. In this moment, how I am feeling, and the appreciation that I have for each and every person that have anything to do with this moment tonight, as well as the 30-plus-year career that I'm celebrating."

"This Lifetime Achievement Award, I don't know, man. Is it too early for me to receive it? Because I'm still running and gunning and I still love it like I did when I was 8 years old," Usher shared with a laugh.

Usher's inspiring speech was preceded by a heartfelt tribute, showcasing the breadth of his achievements spanning music, film, and television.

The tribute featured luminaries such as Toni Braxton, L.A. Reid, and Janelle Monáe, who appeared in a poignant video montage celebrating his illustrious career and enduring legacy.

They eloquently reflected on his impact and contributions to the entertainment industry, underscoring his influence and versatility across multiple artistic domains.
