EDITORIAL

Wendy Geller started her career in music journalism at start-up LAUNCH Media, a innovative source for new music discovery which eventually became acquired by Yahoo and where she spent 20 years in various editorial roles. Following her work at Yahoo, she held editorial posts at PEOPLE and OK! Magazines, and most recently spearheaded the weekend entertainment news desk at The Messenger.

Erika Berlin has spent her career covering music, entertainment, and pop culture; history and related trivia; and the marketing and advertising industries. She is a contributing editor at Ad Age and has been a staff editor at Mental Floss, Rolling Stone, and Cosmopolitan. Her work has appeared in Smithsonian, Entertainment Weekly, Refinery29, Us Weekly, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Her forthcoming book, The Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge: The Official Guide to All the Books, will be out October 2024.

Craig Rosen is the author of The Billboard Book of Number One Albums and R.E.M. Inside Out: The Stories Behind Every Song. His writing has been published on numerous websites and publications, including AARP the Magazine, TIDAL, Yahoo! Music, Menshealth.com, The Hollywood Reporter and the Los Angeles Times. The former West Coast Bureau Chief of Billboard magazine and Managing Editor, News, of Yahoo’s LAUNCH was also the Senior Editor of Premiere Networks News and Morning Prep Service and Evening News Editor for The Messenger. He lives in Los Angeles.

Lyndsey Parker is an award-winning music journalist, host of the podcast/TV show “Totally '80s,” and co-author of legendary groupie Miss Mercy’s autobiography, Permanent Damage: Memoirs of an Outrageous Girl. She was Yahoo Entertainment’s longtime music editor and hosted SiriusXM’s “Volume West” alongside Chad Smith, Matt Pinfield, and Davey Havok. A pop culture expert, she’s a regular correspondent for AXS TV’s The Top Ten Revealed, the Grammy Museum, and Spectrum News; has written for NME, Mojo, Elle, Rolling Stone, Variety, and Los Angeles; and has appeared in documentaries like Netflix's The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story and A&E's I Want My MTV.

Michael Major started his career in entertainment journalism at TigerBeat Media, his first experience in bringing celebrity news to a wide variety of audiences. Since then, he has written about various genres of music for uInterview, PopCrave, The Messenger, and, most recently, BroadwayWorld, where he served as Entertainment Editor and interviewed music luminaries ranging from Katy Perry to Idina Menzel.

Liz Foster launched her career as a music journalist, serving as deputy editor for Sparky, a web publication. A graduate of Columbia Journalism School, she holds an M.S. with a thesis focused on the intersection of hyperpop and social media. Liz has covered a diverse array of media and entertainment topics, spanning from hip-hop to prestige television and classic literature.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Julia Everitt is an NYC-based playwright, marketer, and social media content creator. She has been working in the entertainment industry since 2016 with the first professional production of her writing, I Let Them Out, in Wildclaw Theatre’s Deathscribe event. She has worked in a variety of capacities within the industry including marketing, playwriting, social media management, screenwriting, producing, and more. She previously held roles as the Marketing Manager at the the New York City Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, Social Media Marketer Heidi Marshall Studio (acting studio), and Co-Owner/Playwright/Producer/Head of Marketing for Human Pincushion Productions. She has had over 13 professional productions of her playwriting work and a growing following of over 10,000 on social media.M.S. Marketing from College of William & Mary, B.A. English (Creative Writing Track), B.S. Economics, Minor Theatre Arts from the University of Iowa.
