Dua Lipa is gearing up for a monumental performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this Friday night but her intense rehearsals were interrupted by an insensitive tiktoker.

However, the 28-year-old "Dance The Night" singer reportedly faced a frightening incident during rehearsals when a TikTok star broke into the Birmingham studios where she was fine-tuning her routines with a team of dancers.

According to Mirror UK, the intruder terrifyingly attempted to access the rehearsal space, capturing the attempt on social media, prompting Dua's security team to lock down the set until the individual was escorted out.

Described as an "embarrassing" incident, the TikToker was swiftly removed from the premises.

A source explained, "Dua has been working so hard for the past few days to perfect her set for Glastonbury. Her team saw off this person when they arrived on site on Friday. They made a total prat of themselves by trying to film and it was all rather embarrassing."

The source told The Sun, "Some of Dua's team spoke to them and asked them to clear off. She was inside so luckily missed all the hullabaloo. Nothing is going to knock her off course this weekend. Dua can't wait to show Glastonbury what she has been working on."

Recently, Dua disclosed her aspirations from when she first worked on her debut album in 2017. She had a dream board with just two goals: collaborate with Tame Impala and headline Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage on a Friday night.

She achieved the first goal when Tame Impala's Kevin Parker collaborated with her on her third studio album, "Houdini." Now, she aims to deliver the performance of her career so far this Friday, promising a high-energy set at Glastonbury filled with dance and uninterrupted fun.

Preparation for this gig has been a two-year journey for Dua, who specifically requested the Friday night headline slot so she could revel and enjoy the festival for the rest of the weekend.

Dua Lipa's, as well as Coldplay's headline sets at Glastonbury 2024 will be the firsts to be livestreamed on BBC.com this weekend, marking the first time performances from the festival will be broadcast globally on the website.

Dua Lipa's headline show on Friday night (June 28) will be available to watch from 10pm-11:45pm BST (5pm-6:45pm EST/11pm-12:45am CEST), followed by Coldplay's performance on Saturday (June 29) from 9:45pm-11:45pm BST (4:45pm-6:45pm EST/10:45pm-12:45am CEST).

Tara Maitra, Chief Commercial Officer at BBC Studios, emphasized that the livestream "will give fans around the globe a front row seat to headline performances like never before."
