An expert explained Kanye West's reaction to the reporter who asked him about his wife, Bianca Censori, and said that the rapper's decision to stay quiet was right.
West's name hit the headlines again when a video of him grabbing a reporter's phone went viral. During the incident, the Yeezy founder launched a rant for three minutes to ask her about the question, her work and other things.
"You think because you're a white woman, you can walk up on me like that and ask me some dumbass s--- like that asking me about my wife, if she has free will? Are you crazy?" West asked, before adding, "You asked me does my wife has free will. Was that a d------, disrespectful question to come to ask a grown-a superhero?"
Kanye West Does Not Owe the Reporter an Apology
Reflecting on West's emotions and actions during the encounter, PR expert Ryan McCormick told The Mirror that the rapper's decision not to answer the question was "right."
"He may be feeling angry or uncertain about the encounter and therefore, any potential response could be heavily influenced by emotion and not logic," McCormick said.
The PR expert added, "As a public figure, Kanye is likely accustomed to having members of the press seek him out even when he's not comfortable."
He shared how the "Flashing Lights" rapper did not commit any form of violence or criticize the reporter using derogatory names. Thus, he reportedly does not need to apologize for what he did as a response.

Meanwhile, the reporter in question - TMZ reporter Melanie Miller - appeared on the latest episode of The TMZ Podcast to share her experience.
According to Miller, she was alarmed as she did not see it coming since she interviewed West before.
"It's been very well talked about that...he won't let Bianca have an Instagram because he's trying to protect her. So I'm saying this is an easy opportunity for you to be like, 'Of course I'm not controlling her.' That's all that I had going into it," she went on.
Despite what happened, she reportedly did not regret it because "people deserve answers to this kind of stuff."
