Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj's dissing each other has resulted in some female rappers in the music industry taking sides at the other ends of the spectrum.
Recently, Ice Spice, Sexyy Redd, JT, and Latto have picked their sides already.
Ice Spice, Sexyy Redd, JT Pick Nicki Minaj
As Nicki Minaj's image on social media continues to be dragged on social media, several female rappers have voiced their support for the Queen of Rap.
Rapper Sexyy Redd who recruited Nicki Minaj on "Pound Town Pt. 2" posted a video of herself dancing on Instagram with Nicki Minaj's diss track "Big Foot" against Megan Thee Stallion.
Meanwhile, Ice Spice showed her love for Nicki Minaj and Future by sharing a photo of the two of them on her Instagram Stories. Minaj was instrumental in Ice Spice's success and shot to fame. She had collaborated with her on "Princess Diana" and "Barbie World," which earned both of them a nomination for Grammy Award for Best Rap Song.
JT, who has been vocal about her support for Minaj seemed to be quiet recently, disappointing some Barbz along the way. Meanwhile, JT came through when she liked Nicki Minaj's post on Instagram about "Big Foot."
Latto Sides With Megan Thee Stallion
On the other hand, Latto has publicly expressed her support for Megan Thee Stallion by commenting on one of her posts on Instagram.
"U making us proud Meg [star-eyed emoji]," she commented on Meg's post of a clip of her new song's music video on Instagram.
Last year, Latto waged war on who she publicly claimed to be her idol. When Nicki Minaj tweeted about "Super Freaky Girl" being recategorized to the pop categories at the Grammy Awards, she compared Latto's "Big Energy" which was considered for the rap categories, despite the two songs sounding sonically the same. "I have no prob being moved out the RAP category as long as we r ALL being treated FAIRLY, If ['Super Freaky Girl'] has [2 billion views] moved out RAP then so does Big Energy," she tweeted at the time.
Latto then responded and accused Minaj of being a bully.
"I've ignored countless subtweets since March and instead addressed u in the dm. You're asking why I didn't speak up in ur defense... it's the same answer I gave u when u asked why I didn't congratulate you. Ur literally older than my mom tryna be a bully @NICKIMINAJ," she responded, resulting in a fiery exchange.
