Ricky Martin is back on television screens with a fresh role in Apple TV+'s upcoming series, Palm Royale. The trailer introduces him as Robert alongside a talented cast including Kristen Wiig, Alison Janney, Laura Dern, Kaia Gerber, Bruce Dern, and Carol Burnett, who makes "extra special guest" appearances.

Loosely based on Juliet McDaniel's novel "Mr. and Mrs. American Pie," Palm Royale marks Martin's return to TV since his last project, "The Assassination of Gianni Versace" on FX. In the trailer, Martin's character navigates the elite world as a server at an exclusive club, skillfully crafting martinis and dipping into the pool of luxury alongside Wiig's character, Maxine.

Palm Royale follows Maxine's journey as she tries to navigate between the privileged and the marginalized in 1969. It explores themes of sacrifice and belonging as she asks herself, "How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to attain another's fortune?"

Abe Sylvia is the writer, executive producer, and showrunner for the series. The first three episodes will premiere on March 20 on Apple TV+, followed by new episodes every Wednesday until May 8.
