Despite not being nominated at the 2024 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé is still one of the most talked about artists of the night.
Sporting a huge white cowboy hat, Beyoncé definitely proves that she's a scene-stealer everywhere she goes. However, this had fans thinking that her fashion choice was more than what many thought it was.
New Era Teased Through New Fashion
Teasing one's next era through an artist's recurrent fashion style and choice has been an ongoing thing for many big celebrities.
For example, Taylor Swift switched to blue outfits during her last Los Angeles stop at "The Eras" Tour definitely gave off the announcement of the release of "1989 (Taylor's Version)" in 2023.
Since then, fans, no matter what fandom, have been very perceptive and observant of their fave artists in their fashion and clothing choices because they might be teasing a new era already.
In this case, Beyoncé's country era seemed to be apparent because of a number of things. Billboard listed down five ongoing fan theories that seemed to suggest that she's releasing a country record next!
Beyoncé Releasing Country Album Theories
At the top of the list is Beyoncé's 2024 Grammy Awards outfit. The white cowboy hat was so huge that it was not hard to miss. Also, some of her released visuals for "Renaissance" saw Queen B wearing a similar bedazzled hat.
Fans theorize that maybe "Renaissance: Act 2" is a country record or might have contained Country songs. Well, we won't know that for sure yet because Beyoncé has yet to announce when she will release the second act of the highly acclaimed album.
Beyoncé releasing a country song is not actually something new as she released one in the past already. Her 2016 song "Daddy Lessons" contained Country music vibes that anyone can very well distinguish, plus, she released a version of it with the Dixie Chicks and performed it at the Country Music Association Awards in 2016..
Apart from these, we shouldn't forget that Beyoncé is from Houston, Texas! There are plenty of country music artists and groups who have hailed from that city and that state alone including The Chicks, Flatland Cavalry, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, LeAnne Rhimes, and even Willie Nelson himself, among many others.
Lastly, Beyoncé released a collection with Adidas called "Ivy Park Rodeo" which speaks largely of a cowgirl aesthetic in 2021.
Do you think Beyoncé will be releasing a country album next?
