"American Idol" season 19 alum, Alex Miller, was reportedly involved in a fatal car accident on his way back from a performance in Kentucky.
"While traveling back from a vacation last night, rising Country star Alex Miller and several members of his band were on a bus that was hit by a car," read a statement released by the singer's team.
According to reports, while Miller and the rest of his team survived the accident without injuries, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash did not.

Alex Miller Impresses 'American Idol' Judges
Miller appeared on the contest show in 2021; he performed an original song titled "I'm Over You, So Get Over Me," impressing "American Idol" judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan.
As per Country Now, the singer did not win "American Idol," as he failed to reach the Top 24, however, he managed to build his music career from there.
He has opened for several country singers like Lee Brice, Josh Turner, Brooks & Dunn, Hank Williams Jr., and more.
Miller later dropped his debut studio album, "Miller Time," in April 2022 via Bill Jam Records, spawning the singles "I'm Over You, So Get Over Me," "Don't Let The Barn Door Hit Ya," and "Through With You."
"Alex was born with real Country music in his bones and now he's exploring new sounds - while staying true to himself. I think his fans will love it," said the singer's producer Jerry Salley.
It seems like Miller's journey in music is only getting started; he just released a new EP titled "Country," and is currently on tour.
