It's been eight years since Rihanna released her previous album "Anti" and fans have been waiting for her to drop her highly-anticipated 9th studio album. More recently, her partner, A$AP Rocky, teased fans about the singer's next project; is it coming out soon?
As seen on a viral video circulating around the internet, the rapper could be seen taking pictures with his fans in Paris, France.
One bravely asked the hip-hop artist to give an update about Rihanna's impending 9th studio album, in which he simply answered, "She's working on it!" then he walked away while smiling as fans cheered and screamed.
Rihanna is Experimenting on New Sound for Her New Album
Rihanna has been silent about her next project and even though she performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show last year, the musician didn't play any of her new music.
In 2018, a fan asked her on Instagram about when the album would be released, in which she simply answered "2019." However, the singer has yet to release any project since then.
In 2021, Rihanna spoke with Associated Press to share details about the album, as she noted that she's experimenting with sounds and her fans will not expect what they would hear in the future.

"You're not going to expect what you hear. Just put that in your mind... Whatever you know of Rihanna is not going to be what you hear," she said. (via Billboard)
She added: . "I'm really experimenting. Music is like fashion. You should be able to play. I should be able to wear whatever I want. I treat music the same way. So I'm having fun and it's going to be completely different."
As of this writing, Rihanna has yet to announce a release date for her album.

Despite not releasing an album, the singer has been busy over the past years. She already gave birth to two children named RZA and Riot Rose.

Rihanna made a short comeback in 2022 when she dropped the track "Lift Me Up" as part of the movie "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever."
