Machine Gun Kelly Covers Up Tattoos With Massive Body Ink for ‘Spiritual Purposes’

Throughout his career, Machine Gun Kelly has been known for his love for body art as his body is covered with different tattoos with several meanings. More recently, the musician made a big commitment as he covered up his previous ink with a massive tattoo; why did he do it?

Taking to his official Instagram account, the rapper, whose previous photos on the social media platfom had been deleted, shared an image of himself featuring a new tattoo design which covered his upper body down to his arms.

In the caption, MGK explained that it's for "spiritual purposes" but he never gave more context about his new body ink.

Later in the caption, he credited an artist named Roxx who appeared to be the person who did his tattoo.

The artist also shared an image of MGK on his profile and he wrote in the caption: "Made some art with @machinegunkelly Never met a tougher one."

To which the singer replied: "thanks for the joy and pain."

Machine Gun Kelly Tattoo History

According to People Magazine, the musician, whose real name is Colson Baker, went to a European trip with his daughter.

At the time, he added a brand new tattoo to his many body art. The outlet noted that his 14-year-old daughter held up a tattoo gun and seemingly wondered what design she would add.

Back in 2021, he had matching tattoos with his good pal Travis Barker as he announced the album "Born with Horns."

However, he changed that name of his record six months after they got the tattoo.

In a video shared on social media, he spoke with Barker to tell him that they're "friends no matter what," then he asked him if he remembered getting the new album's name tattoed on their arms.

Barker bursted into laughter when he found out that the album name was changed. It was released as "Mainstream Sellout."

Over the Super Bowl weekend, it was reported that Machine Gun Kelly and his partner Megan Fox were spotted at an afterparty with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

The outing comes a year after they reportedly ended their relationship, but a source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple is working on their connection privately.

"They love so hard that sometimes things can be intense, but ultimately, they do their best to hear one another and better themselves. They both want a happy, loving, supportive, and honest relationship," the insider noted.
