Machine Gun Kelly New Song 2024: Rapper Bares Soul On Megan Fox Miscarriage, Breakdown, More

Machine Gun Kelly is sharing a side that many are yet to see of him with his new song "Don't Let Me Go," and while it is pretty heavy, it also explains why he got a blackout tattoo.

Unlike his usual releases, MGK decided to drop an emotional ballad, which touched on several sensitive and intimate topics such as his fiancee, Megan Fox's miscarriage, his mental health, substance abuse, and his relationship with his late father, reports say.

Months after the "Jennifer's Body" star opened up about losing her baby, the rapper slash songwriter came forward with his point of view of the tragedy.

"How can I live with the fact/ That my hand wasn't on her stomach when we lost the baby?" MGK raps.

"I don't got no one to turn to/ Because everyone's dead in my life that was tryna raise me."

Just like MGK, the actress also expressed her sadness and grief by writing poetry; she released "Pretty Boys Are Poisonous."

In November 2023, Fox said this about the miscarriage: "I'd never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately ... trying to navigate What does this mean? and Why did this happen?"

Machine Gun Kelly Reveals 'Breakdown' Inspired Blackout Tattoo

Elsewhere in MGkK's new song, he revealed what really inspired his blackout tattoos, which left netizens in complete shock and awe.

"Lately my thoughts eating me alive / laid in the bed thinking maybe the hate'll finally go away if I'm not alive," he raps.

"Wish I didn't listen just like I wish they would understand me one time / I had a breakdown and tatted my entire body except one line / Everything's just fine."

The "Bloody Valentine" rapper shared a picture of his body on Instagram, baring his blackout tattoo, which covered his torso and arms, and captioned it, "for spiritual purposes only."

Machine Gun Kelly Opens Up About His Father

MGK seems to also reflect on his late father and their relationship, which heavily affected his life and music.

"Before my dad left to serve/ He made sure I took on every quality I didn't want/ I was supposed to die at birth/ Gave me a chance and I f**ed it up, give me another one," he raps.
