Selena Gomez has been working in the entertainment industry since she was a kid, and after decades of fame and success, the singer is content with her life; check out below why she feels this way in the present.
The musician recently sat down for an interview with Rolling Stone, in which she noted that a part of her "feels like I'm finally at a good place with everything in my life."
Selena Gomez didn't precisely detail what she meant about feeling in a good place, but it could be due to her relationship with record producer/collaborator Benny Blanco.
She said in the interview that her upcoming music will be inspired by "a place of confidence" that will make fans see the "joy and curiosity" happening in her life.
Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco History
According to People Magazine, Blanco and Gomez used to be professional collaborators before their romantic relationship began. They first collaborated on the song "I Can't Get Enough," which was released in 2019.
Fast-forward four years later, fans were surprised when the singer confirmed on social media that she was dating Blanco. It all began when she constantly commented on his photos; fans immediately noticed it.
When one of her supporters questioned their romance, she replied, "then why has he been the best thing that's ever happened to me. The end."
She further explained that she was at her "happiest" then and would never allow negativity to enter her life again.
Gomez later revealed that when she commented, she had already been dating Blanco for six months.
She added, "I will always defend my friends, family, and fans until the day I die."
Selena Gomez's New Album Updates
In the same interview, the musician revealed that her previously released tracks "Single Soon" and "Love On" might not reflect her next album.
"I'm excited to explore more styles of music, and I think people will hopefully be surprised by the contrast. I like releasing songs that I love and I care about. I just released them into the world and later comes the full album," she added.
As of this writing, Gomez has yet to announce anything regarding her next album. If she ever releases a new project, it will be the follow-up to her 2020 record "Rare."
