Blue Ivy Receives Heartwarming Letter From Grandfather Mathew Knowles: ‘You Will Continue to Astound Us All’

Beyoncé and Jay-Z's daughter, Blue Ivy, is only 12 years old. Still, she's already making waves in the music industry because, at a very young age, she already received a Grammy and even got the chance to perform with her famous mother on her "Renaissance Tour."

More recently, her grandfather, Mathew Knowles, shared a heartwarming letter praising the music prodigy for the success that she amassed throughout the years.

Knowles, the former manager of Destiny's Child, took to social media to share a letter for his granddaughter.

He first recalled a story when he went to London to watch Beyoncé perform and was looking for Blue Ivy. The pop star then told him that she was rehearsing.

"In that moment I was so proud that you wanted to put in the work to get better," he wrote. (via Billboard)

Mathew Knowles Says Blue Ivy is a 'Force to Be Reckoned With'

The grandfather further noted that he wanted to take the opportunity to appreciate Blue Ivy's determination and willingness to learn what she displayed.

"Your excitement for life and your eagerness to soak up knowledge and new experiences is truly inspiring," he added.

Knowles added that his grandchild has already shown the world that she's a force to be reckoned with, and he has no doubt that she will "continue to astound us all."

Blue Ivy With Beyoncé on 'Renaissance World Tour'

As seen in the movie "Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé," the pop star initially didn't want her daughter to take the stage with her.

However, she later saw her determination and realized the hard work she had put into improving her performance, so she changed her mind.

Many people noticed that Blue Ivy's dancing skills at her first show weren't that energetic, but every time she appeared on tour, she consistently outdid herself as she improved a lot.

In addition, she was an integral part of creating the setlist for the concerts, suggesting to Beyoncé that she add her hit song "Diva."
