The singer has amassed a great number of fans since winning The American Idol.
Fans were thrilled by the announcement, but not when they saw the ticket prices.
Kelly Clarkson Announces New Jersey Concert
Apart from her Emmy-winning talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kelly Clarkson performs occasionally in other places in the country.
In an Instagram post, Grammy-winning singer Kelly Clarkson announced that she'll have a two-night concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
"In less than 2 months we're bringing the party to Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City May 10 & 11. Ticket link in bio," she captioned her post.
Many of her fans were thrilled with the announcement, expressing their happiness in the comments.
"I cant wait.... im sooo excited ive waited years. An this last album hit home. We went thru divorces at the same time!!!!" a fan commented.
"I can't wait!!!! Long time fans and my husband 60th and is thrilled to spend seeing you!!!! With me of course," another shared.
"Any second I'mma catch my second wind!!!! First Vegas now first row in Atlantic City! WAHOOOEEEE," a third person chimed in.

Fanks Shocked With "Expensive" Concert Tickets
Amid the excitement that fans have expressed in the comments section, many were also annoyed because of how expensive Kelly Clarkson tickets are in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
"They are super expensive," one pointed out.
"We wanted to go, but the prices are beyond our budget plus I am still jobless . I know the show will be awesome!" another wrote.
"Why are they $$$$$$$$," a third person said, while another commented, "Wanted to go, but tix are a little out of reach..."
Kelly Clarkson Suing Husband Brandon Blackstock
According to Radar Online, Kelly Clarkson was served with a complaint from Starstruck Entertainment. The entertainment house, owned by Blackstock, sued her for allegedly owing $1.4 million in commissions for her work on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" and "The Voice."
Clarkson responded with a petition to the California Labor Commission, arguing that Blackstock was never licensed to become a talent agent.
