After garnering spots in different global music charts, "Feather" reached the No. 1 spot on the Top 40 Radio. The platinum hit single became her first track to make it to the chart following its previous breakthrough.
This came after Carpenter released its official music video in October 2023, which immediately scored 5.2 million views within one week of release.
"Feather" has been part of the songstress' setlists in different shows and performances. Carpenter notably serenaded her fans with it on her MTV VMA stage and at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2024.
The track also became part of her emails i can't send tour before her Coachella Music Festival performance.
In January, "Feather" helped Carpenter have her first Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. At the time, the song rose from No. 56 to No. 37 after scoring 22.7 million in radio airplay audience and 7.8 million official streams in the U.S. during the January 19 to 25 week.
"The success of 'Feather' is a representation of the years of focused attention that Sabrina and the team have put into every aspect of her artistry," Volara Management's Janelle Lopez Genzink told Hits Daily Double.
Amid "Feather" success, Carpenter has been enjoying her gig at Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour.
"It's so funny," Carpenter told Billboard. "I've been growing up with her advice in her songs because it's very much a how-to book on how to survive as a young woman, which is really special. Watching her in and of itself is how you learn. I admire her work ethic and her talent and she's just so amazing."
