Diddy should be "very concerned" amid the human trafficking investigation, a prosecutor warned.
Nadia Shihata, one of the prosecutors in R. Kelly's high-profile case, dropped a massive warning after the Department of Homeland Security launched simultaneous raids on his Los Angeles and Miami homes on Monday, March 25. The authorities are reportedly modeling the human trafficking investigation after the probe into R. Kelly.
Raids Should Serve as a Warning to Diddy, Per the Prosecutor
Speaking with Ashleigh Banfield, Shihata said the raids meant an investigation could also be underway.
"They've clearly have probable cause to believe a federal crime has been committed and that evidence of that crime or multiple crimes would be found in the two locations that they searched," she continued, per OK! Magazine. "And if I'm P Diddy ... or his lawyers, I'd be very concerned at this point."
According to Banfield, the case has main issues, including whether the women involved signed nondisclosure agreements since they would mean nothing when the federal agents approached them.
She asked the prosecutor whether a similar thing happened during R. Kelly's case and whether it might also happen with Diddy.
"That may well be happening here," Shihata answered. "An NDA, that when push comes to shove, is not going to trump a grand jury subpoena or a federal agent or prosecutor asking you questions, but I wouldn't say that they are, that they have no effect."
In the latest turn of events, Diddy's girlfriend Yung Miami was also dragged into the drug trafficking investigation after she allegedly provided the Bad Boy Records founder "pink cocaine" - a combination of ecstasy and cocaine.

Diddy's Representative Responds to the Raids
A day after the raids, Diddy's representative and lawyer, Aaron Dyer, issued a statement in which he called the searches "a gross overuse of military-level force."
"This unprecedented ambush - paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence - leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits," he wrote in the March 26 message. "There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name."
