Tony Awards has confirmed more details about the upcoming 2024 reiteration.

The award-giving body, which started in 1947, has a long history of recognizing the talents in live Broadway theater. It has over 20 award categories, including performance, show and technical, special and retired awards.

This year's ceremony will honor the creations and stars' excellence throughout Broadway's 2023 to 2024 season.

Who Will Host the Tony Awards 2024?

For the third time, Ariana DeBose will be doing the hosting job.

"I couldn't pass up the chance to host the Tonys one more time at Lincoln Center," she said in a statement, per Billboard. "I'm excited to collaborate with the team to create an incredible celebration of this season's achievements on Broadway for our community and for everyone at home."

DeBose hosted the Tony Awards in 2022 and 2023. She notably got a Tony nod in 2018 for her performance in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical.

In addition to her hosting responsibilities, DeBose will also work as the ceremony's producer and opening number's choreographer.

While DeBose has a successful career in the music industry, she has been focusing on creating films over the past months. She starred in Wish and created the track "The Wish," for the Disney animated film. She will be part of Dua Lipa's Argylle before her appearance in Kraven the Hunter.

Hugh Jackman, Angela Lansbury and Neil Patrick Harris will reportedly be on stage, as well, per Vogue.

The 2024 Tony Awards will hold the ceremony at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts - David H. Koch Theater in New York City on June 16.

Who Are The Nominees?

As of press time, the nominations for this year's Tonys have yet to be disclosed. Reports announced that the list would be unveiled on April 30.

Where To Watch the Tony Awards 2024

The Tony Awards 2024 will air live on CBS. The network has been streaming the ceremony live since 1978.

Paramount+ will also feature the broadcast, though Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers and on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers will only be able to view it one day after the special airs.

CBS will reportedly team up with Pluto TV for its pre-show, The Tony Awards: Act One, which would feature exclusive live content before the official ceremony.
