As the 2023-2024 Broadway season comes to a close, the 2024 Tony Awards celebrated the brilliance and excellence of live theatre in the past year last June 16, 2024, at the Lincoln Center in New York.

The play Stereophonic, starring Will Brill and Sarah Pidgeon, took home the most Tony Awards, with five wins, including Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play for Brill, Best Direction of a Play, Best Scenic Design of a Play, Best Sound Design of a Play, and Best Play.

Meanwhile, Merrily We Roll Along is the most awarded musical of the night with four Tony Awards, including Best Orchestrations, Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for Daniel Radcliffe, Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for Jonathan Groff, and Best Revival of a Musical.

Meanwhile, actress Angelina Jolie is now halfway to an EGOT as she bagged her first Tony Award for producing the Tony-winning musical The Outsiders. Alicia Keys' Hell's Kitchen bagged the Tony Awards for Best Leading and Supporting Actress for Maleah Joi Moon and Miss Liza Jane, respectively.

The Outsiders won Best Sound Design of a Musical, Best Lighting Design of a Musical, Best Direction of a Musical, and Best Musical. Meanwhile, Appropriate took home three Tonys, including Best Lighting Design of a Play, Best Leading Actress in a Play for Sarah Paulson, and Best Revival of a Play.

Meanwhile, Suffs won two Tony Awards - Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score.
